GEORGE R. BURDA
George R. Burda, 64, who lived in the Lost Bridge Community near Garfield, died June 23 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 2, 1909, in Chicago, Ill., he was manager of marketing for the Onan Corp., Wisconsin, for 32 years, member of the Methodist Church, Paul Revere Lodge, Minneapolis, Minn., and member of US Power Squadron, Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Cameron Burda of the home; two sons, Paul Burda, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and James Burda of the home; two brothers, Elmer Burda, Ingleside, Ill., and Anthony Burda, Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Callison Funeral Home of Rogers.
