Doris Eloise Clark, 80, of Crossett died Friday, August 22, 2003, at the North Monroe, LA, Medical Center. Born November 25, 1922, in Hamburg to Preston and Mallie Howell Bonds, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Phillip Clark and wife Terri Lynn of Bastrop, LA, and Ricky Clark of Little Rock; two brothers, Travis Bonds of Morrilton and Bobby Bonds of Texarkana; one sister, Nina Cummings of Haynesville, LA; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Clark; and two sons, Shelby and Joseph Clark.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, August 25, in the First Baptist Church of Crossett with Revs. Jimmie Lewis and Larry White officiating. Pallbearers were Scott Clark, Stanley Robinson, Homer Courson, Tim Ballard, Phil Clark and Ricky Clark. Burial followed services at the Carlock Cemetery with arrangements by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
