Joseph D. Winford, 76, of Rogers, died Thursday morning at the Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1902, in Houston, Ark.

He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and was retired from the Bell Telephone. Co. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Army.

Survivors are two nieces and one nephew.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Benton County Memorial Park with the Rev. Gerald Hammett officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Callison Funeral Home.

MRS. ORAL LEE WINFORD
Mrs. Ora Lee Winford, 72, W. Walnut Street, Rogers, died April 22 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 8, 1902, at Monroe, she was the daughter of Columbus and Sarah Kizer Evans, a member of the Baptist Church, a retired telephone operator and was a member of Telephone Pioneers.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Winford of the home and several nephews and nieces.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Benton County Memorial Park with the Rev. Dean Newberry officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Callison Chapel of Rogers.

Friends may call at Callison Chapel tonight from 7:30 to 8:30.
