Mr. Marion Edward "Bronco" McClain, 56, of Jennings, FL, born January 1, 1947 in Crossett, died Saturday, August 23, 2003, at the Trinity Hospital in Jasper, Florida. He was a former resident of Bastrop, LA, and sold, fixed and installed CB Radios and served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphis and Florine Stewart McClain.

He is survived by a son, Barrett Clark of Bastrop, LA; five daughters, Lorie Lundy and husband Ben of Brandon, MS, Mary Lynn McClain and husband Wayne Oliver of Nashville, TN, Vicki Wroten and husband Shane of Monroe, LA, Nicole Griffin and husband Lee of Lake Park, GA, and Tara McClain of Monroe, LA; his companion, Lacey Wells of Jennings, FL; a sister, Francis Bourgeois of Bossier City, LA; four brothers, R.W. "Rufus" McClain of Monroe, LA, Alphis McClain of Winnsboro, LA, David McClain of Haughton, LA, and Danny McClain of Anchorage, Alaska; his grandchildren, Brittany & Marley Whittington, Blair Lundy, all of Brandon, MS, Stormy Wroten of Monroe, LA., Cole McClain of Lake Park, GA, and Mary Taylor Oliver of Nashville, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grave-side services will be 4 p.m., Thursday, August 28, in the Egypt Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Crumby officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones Hartshorn Funeral Home, Hamburg. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Living Legacy Partnership, P.O. Box 409410, Atlanta, Georgia 30384-9410.
