Bob Tate, who formerly resided near Vaughn, southwest of Bentonville, died suddenly at Harrison, Ark. Tuesday of the past week and was buried in the Vaughn cemetery on Wednesday the 23rd.

Robert H. Tate of the Bethlehem community west of Centerton, died of heart failure at Self, Boone County, Ark., Monday, October 21, 1929. He was nearly 60 years of age. The remains were brought back for burial. funeral services were held at the Bethlehem Church on Wednesday, the Rev. Clarence Coffelt conducting the services. Burial was made in the Barron cemetery. Mr. Tate was born in 1870 and was united in marriage to Miss Annie Barth in 1892. To this union were born five children, all of whom are living. These are: Arthula Callis of Ojai, Calif.; Cecil Brown of Luther, Okla.; Mary Elam of Gravette; Pearl Tate of Eaton, Colo. and Ruby of the home. He is also survived by his widow and a brother, Ed Tate, also by five grandchildren.
