Claudine Bryant, 63, of Lake Village died Thursday, October 7, 1999, at the St. Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. She was an artist, a homemaker and a member of the Dermott Baptist Church Survivors include her husband, Houston Bryant of Lake Village; a son, John H. Bryant, Jr., of West Monroe, LA; two daughters, Sylvia Lynn Courson of Lake Village and Janice Bryant Barden of Mobile, AL; five brothers, Charles Richard Prescott of Dermott, Harold Lee Prescott of Gulfport, MS, Norman Dee Prescott of West Palm Beach, FL, Bobby Joe Prescott of Mablevale and Randy Wayne Prescott of Monticello; six sister, Cora Eliece Gulledge of Hamburg, Mary Louise Hicks, Annette Nielson and Margaret Ann Mixon of Dermott, Elizabeth Thompson of Lake Village and Norma Jean Burris of Cabot and four grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 9, in the Dermott Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Tanner officiating. Burial followed services at the Dermott Cemetery, with arrangements by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
