December 18, 1903 - January 5, 1965
Pink Pearson, 61, died suddenly Tuesday morning at his home in Junction City apparently of a heart attack. Born in Farmerville, La., he was the son of Dave and Laura Thompson Pearson. At an early age he joined Mt. Union Baptist Church where he remained until death. His survivors include: his widow, Mrs. Grace Pearson, Junction City; one son, Burl Pearson; two daughters, Mrs. Clottee Gray and Mrs. Juanita Gray, all of Milwaukee, Wisc.; one brothers, Jewell Pearson, Junction City; three sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Jenkins, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Maggie Williams and Mrs. Pearl Roper, both of Junction City; 18 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Union Baptist Church, Rev. W. I. Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Rosenwald Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.
