September 28, 1894 - July 8, 1973
Anthony Wayne Peters, 78, of Stephens, died Sunday afternoon in a local hospital. He was a retired mechanic, A Methodist, and a Mason. Funeral services were to be held today at 2 p.m. at Mount Prospect Methodist Church, with burial in Mount Prospect Cemetery, by Proctors. Mr. Peters is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lou Dora Reed of Stephens; one brother, Dennis Peters, of Pineville, La.,; two sisters, Mrs. Della Shell of Winfield, La., and Mrs. Alice Dunn of Baton Rouge, La., and four grandchildren.
