Mrs. Helan M. Ramsey Mize, 73, of Fort Smith died Saturday (July 4, 1992) in a Fort Smith hospital. Born May 30,,1919, in EI Paso (White County), a daughter of the late Dozier and Evie Bass Ramsey, she was a homemaker, the widow of Preston Mize and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Fort Smith. Survivors are three sons, Howard Mize of Conway, Charles Mize of Beebe and Mike Mize of Fort Smith; five. daughters, Letha Hendrickson of Conway, Ressie Green of Fort Smith, Fern Webb of North Little Rock, Shirley Oddson of Little Rock and Jo Ellen Wooley of Vilonia; a sister, Opal Smith of Cabot; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Center Point Baptist Church in Vilonia with the Rev. Sidney Sawrie officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia by Roller-McNutt Funeral Horne. Pallbearers will be Bobby Arnold, Jim Stem, Ervin Mize, Lee Ramsey, Brian Ramsey and Hubert Ramsey.
