Maylene Garrison Walden, 76, of Stuttgart passed away Monday, January 31, 2011, at Baptist Health-Little Rock. She was born November 29, 1934, in Bayou Meto to Tom Raymond and Ethel Kimsey Garrison who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and retired from the Stuttgart School District as a teacher's aide. She was a member of North Maple Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband of 55 years, John Walden Sr.; her son, John Walden Jr. and wife Mellissa of Stuttgart; her daughter, Brenda Young and husband Mark of Stuttgart; one brother, Wayne Edward Garrison of Stuttgart; two sisters, Mary Lou King of Hazen and Martha Ann Jennings of Tampa, Florida; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Turpin Funeral Home with burial in Bayou Meto Cemetery.
