WARINER, George B. - George B. Wariner was born Aug. 6, 1837 in Missouri. When quite young he confessed Christ and obeyed the Saviour and ever since lived a faithful Christian life. On Feb. 12, 1882 he was married to Julia Wells. To this union were born 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters. The two daughters preceded him to the other world; the companion and three sons survive. Brother Wariner fell asleep in Christ Aug. 9, 1917 at his home near Hiwasse at the age of 80 years and 3 days. The funeral was conducted by Eld. J.E. Teaney of Gravette and the body was laid to rest in the Gamble cemetery near Centerton. Sympathy is extended the bereaved family.

WARINER, Julia Ann WELLS - Julia Ann Wells was born Feb. 24, 1851 in Texas, died June 27, 1921 at her home near Hiwasse. She came to Arkansas with her mother's family in 1879 and has been a worthy citizen of Arkansas ever since. Julia was united in marriage to George Wariner in 18{?}. To this union were born five children, three boys and 2 girls. The two daughters preceded her to the beyond several years ago. She united with the Christian church many years ago and has ever been true to the faith. Her husband departed this life four years ago. Her three sons and two sisters, one brother and six grandchildren, with a host of friends remain to mourn her departure. Eld. R.M. Phillips officiated at the funeral in the home June 28, 1921 and the body was laid to rest in the Gamble cemetery.

{from Hiwasse} Mrs. Wariner died at her home here Monday morning. She had been in poor health for some time and caught pneumonia last week which caused her death. She is survived by three sons, Vernon and Walter, who live in Oklahoma, and Bud, who made his home with her. Burial was made Tuesday at the Gamble cemetery beside her husband who has been dead for several years. Bro. Phillips officiated at the funeral.

WARNER, Julia - Mrs. Julia Warner, aunt of Mrs. Bert Douglas of Bentonville, died at her home in Hiwasse this morning at 4:30 o'clock. Interment some time Tuesday afternoon at the Gamble cemetery near Centerton.
