GRAVETTE-- Johnny Lee Bates, 54, of Gravette died at Gravette Medical Center on April 3, 2000.
He was born Sept. 4, 1945, in Sulphur Springs.
He was an automobile mechanic and enjoyed restoring old cars. He was a member of Full Gospel Church in Dunivan. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Survivors include his wife; one son; his father and mother; five brothers; four sisters; one grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Full Gospel Church in Gravette. Burial will be at Coffelt Cemetery in Vaughn. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Gravette.
