Jack Shaver, 71, died Wednesday, June 29. He was a lumber foreman for Anthony's Timberlands and a member of the Beirne Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Radford Shaver of Gurdon; a son, Paul Shaver of Beirne; a daughter, Brenda Steed of Little Rock; brother, Charles Shaver of Gurdon; sister Georgia Richard of Little Rock; three granddaughters; one great-grandson. Funeral service will be in Brown Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home.
