Married Anna Lee Forrest, April 19, 1946, Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas.

Claude Jones 74 of Wiseman, son of Thurman A. and Leta Francis Gault Jones, was born January 10, 1921, at Wiseman. He died Tuesday, April 11, 1995.
He was a retired owner and operator of Jones Grocery in Wiseman.
He was a member of Wiseman United Methodist Church and the Hayes Masonic Lodge. He was an army veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict where he received the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Board of Directors of North Central Arkansas Electric Co-op from 1970 till his death.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Lee Forrest Jones; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Janet Jones of Mountain Home; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bill Nelson of Jonesboro; one sister Thelma Hughes of Wiseman; six grandchildren, Jeremy Jones, Randy Jones, Stacey Jones, Stephanie Jones, Brett Nelson and Kathryn Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother, Clyde.
Funeral services were April 14 at the Wiseman United Methodist Church with Reverend J. Hillman Bryam and Reverend Loye Mason officiating.
Interment was at Forrest Chapel Cemetery with arrangements by Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers were Larry Brown, Granville Todd, Bobby Bookout, Nolan Langston, Lee Williams and Rex Forrest. Honorary pallbearers were members of the North Arkansas Electric Co-op.
