Mrs. Edith Mae Conn, 55, Rt. 1, Gentry, died Wednesday at Bates Memorial Hospital in Bentonville. She was born Aug. 28, 1919 at Clarksville. She moved to California at a youn age and most of her life was spent in that state. She moved to the Highfill area in 1968.
She was a member of the Vaughn Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Conn Sr., of the home; a son, Fed Conn Jr., Rt. 1, Gentry; her mother Agnes Waldon, Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Lila Rae Whittich, Tulsa; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday at the Vaughn Presbyterian Church with Rev. Murry Richie officiating. Burial will be in the Highfill Cemetery under the direction of Callison-McKinney Funeral Home of Bentonville.
