Edmund Joseph Moix Sr., 60, of Conway died Monday (March 20, 2000) at Conway Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct. 11, 1939, in Conway, a son of the late Felix and Christine Imboden Moix, he was a retired accountant from White Consolidated Industries, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the CRAs, and served 11 years in the Arkansas National Guard.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Ann Pruss Moix; two sons, Edmund Moix Jr. of Rogers and Richard Moix of Conway; a daughter, Bridget Moix of Heber Springs; four brothers, Felix Moix Jr., Ralph Moix and Herman Moix, all of Conway, and Dennis Moix of North Little Rock; five sisters, Lucille Kordsmeier, Emogene Hofherr and Carolyn Strack, all of Conway, Evelyn McKinnon of Jonesboro and Loretta Madden of Little Rock; five grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Pallbearers will be Charles Moix, Danny Joe Kordsmeier, Mark Moix, Dwayne Hofherr, Jay Moix, Jim Moix, Keith McKinnon and Brian Strack. His nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph School Endowment Fund, the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston or CARTI of Conway.
