Ernest C Ray, age 87, of Gurdon, passed away Monday, Oct 10, 2011, at his home in Gurdon.
He was born July 27, 1924, to Charlie & Winnia (Bell) Ray in Dallas County. Mr Ray was retired from Reynolds Metals Production.
Mr Ray was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Avernell Allen Ray; & his daughter, Glenda Ray Francis.
He is survived by his sons, Raymond Ray of Gurdon, & James Ray & wife Patsy of Redfield; one sister, Helen Fallin of Sparkman; & five grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Cemetery with the Rev. Lloyd Baumgardner officiating.
Services under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
