Ron E. Wilder, age 57 of Batesville died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born July 21, 1951 at Fort Smith, Arkansas to Nathaniel Franklin Wilder Sr. and Thelma Ladd Wilder. He was a Senior Project Engineer for Con Agra Foods in Batesville and also owner and co-founder of Demented Toyz Custom Cars in Batesville. He was a member of the West Baptist Church in Batesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Joy Lawrence, Francis Gram and Pat Geels.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Wilder of the home, three sons, Jason Wilder of Scoffield Barracks, Hawaii, Josh Wilder of Batesville and Joseph Wilder of Conway, one daughter, Sarah Moody of Sulphur Rock, two brothers, Terry Wilder of Springdale and N. F. Wilder Jr. of Fayetteville, three sisters, Christina Wilder of Springdale, Betty Jackson of Lowell and Shirley Burnett of Cleveland, Ohio, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will begin Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro. Bob Dailey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will begin Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Joy Lynn Wilder, age 69 of Batesville peacefully passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 22, 1952 in Waco, Texas to Oscar Everett Wyatt and Bobbie Laverne Hogue Wyatt. She was a member of White River Baptist Church in Oil Trough.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ron E. Wilder and a brother, Gary Wyatt.
She is survived by four children, Jason Wilder of Dixon, Missouri, Josh Wilder of Southside, Arkansas, Joseph Wilder of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Sarah Moody of Oil Trough, Arkansas; two sisters, Debbie Smith of Springtown, Texas and Terri Randall of Irving, Texas; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Paul Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Wilder, Joseph Wilder, Josh Wilder, Jordan Wilder, Kobe Wilder and Patrick Turney.
Honorary pallbearers are Autumn, Devon, Levi and Aaliyah.
