Son of Lester Clyde & Pearl Marie Langston Harber.
Married Rhudean Bernice Jeffery, January 20, 1943, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Vernon Maurice Harber of Calico Rock son of the late Clyde and Pearl Harber was born October 9, 1924 at Flat Rock. He died November 6, 1995 in Calico Rock. He was 71.

Mr. Harber was united in marriage to Rhudean Bernice Jeffery on January 20, 1943 in Baxter County. He spent most of his life as a self employed farmer and construction worker.

Survivors include three sons, Benny Harber of Buffalo, Missouri; Ronnie Harber of Culp; and Terry Harber of Forty Four; one sister, Erma Jean Granat of Burns, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and one sister.

Services were held Thursday November 9 at Howard Chapel in Calico Rock with Reverend Bruce Qualls.

Pallbearers were Jeffery Harber, James Harber, Michael Harber, Danny Calvert, Jason Mann and Rick Skidmore.

Honorary pallbearers were Hershel Ducker, Buddy Martin, Howard Brown and Mike Brown.

Interment was at Flat Rock Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
