Born in Blamd, Saline County, Arkansas and died in Reydell, Jefferson County, Arkansas
Alice Beatrice was born in Saline County, Arkansas, where she lived until some time after 1930, when they moved to Jefferson County, Arkansas. She married her husband while still living in Saline County.
Alice brought four children into this world: David Lee, Bessie Elizabeth, Hazel Marie and James Edward.
Alice died at the age of 28, from what the local doctor called "water dropsy" (also known as congestive heart failure).
From all accounts Alice was a beautiful women, inside and out. All that talk about her mention her kindness, gentleness and her willingness to help anyone at anytime.
When Alice was buried, she was wrapped in a quilt that she had just finished making.
