WICHITA, Kan. Billy Pete Ford, 77, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Sulphur Rock, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in Wichita.
Born Feb. 22, 1929, at Sulphur Rock, he was the son of Thurman Pete Ford Sr. and Ona Bice Ford. He was a retired tool and die maker for Boeing Aircraft and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Ricky Pete Ford of Searcy; two daughters, Judy Karen Ford of Judsonia and Debbie Jean Ford of Wichita; two brothers, Jimmy R. Ford of Newark and Thurman Ford Jr. of Benton; two sisters, Marrietta Riley and Clara Byler, both of Batesville; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ruby Ford.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Michael Ford officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
No visitation is planned.
