Obituary for Roy Kenneth Dunn:

Roy Kenneth Dunn of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas was born on April 22, 1930 at Sandersville, Georgia, son of Roy Earl Dunn and Bessie Lou (Howell) Dunn. He died December 20, 1994, north of Evening Shade, Arkansas at the age of 64 years.

Mr. Dunn was retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Senior Master Sergent. He served 21 years and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was an avid fisherman and gardener and was of the Protestant faith. He moved to Horseshoe Bend after the death of his mother in 1991.

Mr. Dunn is survived by two sons, Colonel Paul Dunn of Ft. Hood, Texas; and Bruce E. Dunn of Ashland, Oregon; one brother, William C. Dunn of St. George, South Carolina; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Services were December 28, 1994 in the Faith Presbyterian Church in Horseshoe Bend with Rev. Burle Mattingly officiating.

Pallbearers were John Kerr, Calvin Lewis, Robert Brewer, Howard Wolkoy, Ronald Nickolett and Brian Harter.

Interment was at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel in Horseshoe Bend.
