Obituary for Marilyn Jane Edwards Dunn:

Marilyn Jane Dunn of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, daughter of the late Clyde W. and Myrtle Ann (Miller) Edwards was born September 5, 1929 at Adair Iowa. She died December 21, 1994 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas, at the age of 65 years.

Mrs. Dunn married Roy Kenneth Dunn on December 20, 1968. She was a member of the Animal Humane Society, known for her great compassion for animals and a member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend. She was a retired administrative specialist. She moved to Horseshoe Bend with her husband in 1991.

Mrs. Dunn is survived by one stepson, Colonel Paul Dunn of Ft. Hood, Texas; and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Services were December 28, 1994 in the Faith Presbyterian Church in Horseshoe Bend with Rev. Burle Mattingly officiating.

Pallbearers were John Kerr, Calvin Lewis, Robert Brewster, Howard Wolkoy, Ronald Nickolett and Brian Harter.

Interment was at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel in Horseshoe Bend.
