Lived in Mississippi, and then moved to Arkansas County. Was married while still living in Mississippi to Parthena. He then married Athela. On 16 June 1867, he married Mrs. Martha Jane Hagler Walters in Arkansas County, Arkansas. After her death, he married Mary Dallas Brewer.
