June 9, 1885 - June 20, 1955
Ralph Harryman, 70, Magnolia grocer, died at 4:20 Monday afternoon at Magnolia following a heart attack. He had been ill for the last year. A native of Salem, Oregon, Mr. Harryman moved to Stephens in 1924. He moved to Magnolia and began operating a grocery store on U. S. Highway 82 in 1929. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillie Mae Hughes Harryman of Magnolia; two sons, J. C. Harryman of Eunice, N. M/ and Lee Roy Harryman of Shreveport, La.; two daughters, Mrs. C. W. Reagor of Carthage, Texas and Mrs. W. D. Horn of Camden; three sisters, Mrs. Ibbie Mecham of Kansas City, Mo. Mrs. Mae Sawchier of Atchison, Kansas and Mrs. Myrtle Gibbs of Kansas City, Mo. The funeral service was at the Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia Wednesday morning and burial in the Magnolia Cemetery. (Camden Times - June 23, 1955)
