Death Comes to Uncle Jim Harber
After an illness of several weeks, "Uncle Jim" Harber, one of this section's oldest and best known citizens, died at his home in the Flat Rock vicinity, seven miles east of Calico Rock, early last night, Thursday, June 6th.
While definite funeral arrangements have as yet not been announced, it is understood the funeral will be held Saturday, interment to be at Flat Rock Cemetery.
Mr. Harber was born and reared in this vicinity, practically all his life having been spent in the Flat Pock neighborhood, where he owned a large farm. He was well known over the county and was one of the most influential citizens in this section. He was an upright citizen, held in high esteem by the scores who knew him.
Besides his widow, he is survived by several children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and other relatives.
