Obituary:
Ralph Alford, 73, of New Edinburg (Cleveland County), died May 1, 1998, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 11, 1925 at Bradley County, a son of the late Willie Alford and Annie Mae Scroggins Alford. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy and a member of the Emmaus Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Bill and Ralph's Poultry Company. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Alford. He is survived by his wife, Annette Parnell Alford, whom he married in Bradley County in 1946; a son, Gary Alford of New Edinburg; a daughter, Donna Szentivanyi of Bossier City, Louisiana; a brother, Lee Roy Rodgers of Arkadelphia; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm today at Frazer's Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will be in Moseley Cemetery near Warren.
