Mary Sue Shoptaw, 87, of Dover, died Thursday, February 27, 2003 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The daughter of F. M. and Maggie Woods Turner, she was born July 23, 1915 in Dover. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 57 years, Tom A. Shoptaw and a sister, Sarah Zelle Cole.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Merrell and Roxanna Shoptaw, of Dover; four grandchildren, Robyn Shoptaw of Russellville, Bradley Shoptaw of Fayetteville, Cari Thomas and husband Chris, of Russellville, Kelley Chance and husband, B.J., of Russellville; three great grandchildren, Victoria Thomas, Taylor Thomas, and Connor Chance, all of Russellville.
