Altie Gladys Anderson Porterfield of Calico Rock died July 18, 1993 at White River Healt Care, she was 89 years old. Born September 2, 1904 in Wild Cherry, she was the daughter of Perry Anderson and Ida Sexton. She married David Love Porterfield January 2, 1920 in Wideman. She was a mother and homemaker.
Mrs Porterfield is survived by: 3 daughters, Hazel Wyatt of Pineville, Nellie Steel of Calico Rock and Joyce Bates of Malden; 3 sons, Allen Porterfield and James Porterfield of Calico Rock and Dolan Porterfield of Springfield, Missouri; 2 sisters, Zelma Stark of Kansas City, Missouri and Elsie Evens of Hutchinson, Kansas; 32 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by; her husband David Love Porterfield, her parents, 1 son and 3 daughters.
Services were Tuesday July 20, 1993 at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie McAllister and Pastor Price Lovelace officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers were Marvin Thompson, Coy stags, Ricky Staggs, Eugene Staggs, Ealen Staggs and Andy Sanders.
Pallbearers were David Cowgill, Jearld Wyatt, Billy Porterfield, Chip Porterfield and Junior Pannell.
Interment was at the Wild Cherry Cemetery under the direction of the Howard Funeral Home.
White River Currant, Calico Rock, Arkansas.
