Daughter of Joseph E. & Olavine Pierson Morgan.

Mrs. Churchill Dead

Mrs. Kizzie Elizabeth Churchill, wife of "Uncle George" Churchill of this place died at her home here early last Saturday morning, Jan. 20th at the advanced age of 73 years. Mrs. Churchill was sick about a week prior to her death, being considered in comparatively good health until she suffered an attack of lagrippe or flu.

Burial took place at the Flat Rock Cemetery, six miles east of here Sunday, funeral services being conducted by Rev. M. B. Nichols.

Deceased was born in Whitfield County, Ga., Aug. 20, 1850 and moved to Arkansas in 1856, locating in the Flat Rock vicinity, where she spent the greater part of her life. In 1872 Mrs. Churchill, nee Morgan, was united in marriage to Geo. W. Churchill of this vicinity and to this union was born eleven children, four of whom are dead.

Mrs. Churchill united with the M. E. Church, South in 1872 and lived a faithful member of that church through the remainder of her life, being a consistent follower of the teachings and principles of the Bible. She had a large circle of friends and acquaintances who testify as to her earnestness of purpose and patient consideration toward all, being held in the highest esteem by all who knew her.

Deceased is survived by her husband and the following sons and daughters; J. T. Churchill of Okmulgee, Okla; Mrs. M. L. Busby of Bald Knob, Ark; H. E. Churchill, W. A. Churchill, Mrs. S. M. Farris, Mrs. Huldse Greiner of Calico Rock and Mrs. L. M. Nance of Moorefield, Ark.
