Charles A Carney was married to Lillian M. Carney on 22 June 1910 in Washington Co, by Sam Elliott, J.P.(Washington Co Marrige Book O, page 505). Charles last name was misspelled on the marriage index. Charles Arthur Carney's birth and death dates are listed in the obituary index at the Fayetteville Pubic Library. An obit is available from the microfilm files for the Northwest Ark Times, Aug 17th and 19th, 1960.

Mrs. Lillian M. Carney, 93, of Fayetteville died July 6 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Sept. 25, 1882 at West Fork, she was the daughter of Ephren and Emaline Jones Ramey and a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, John Carney, Fayetteville, and Henry Carney, Fort Smith; two daughters, Miss Florence Carney of the home and Mrs. Ada Jarnagan, Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., Mount Zion Cemetery, with the Rev. Steve Cranford officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
