1827 Hawkins Co TN - 1888 Hicks Washington Co Ar
Wife of John N. Bassett. Census records and several family trees on Ancestry.com, show that Susannah Brooks Bassett was born in 1827 rather than 1817. She was the daughter of William D. and Susannah Price Brooks of Hawkins Co, Tennessee. In addition, she was the sister to Sarah Leah Brooks Bean who is buried in this cemetery. Hawkins Co, TN marriage index shows that John and Susanna married on 27 Sep 1847.
