Died January 12, 2011, Salem, Fulton County, Arkansas.
Son of Frank Wiseman & Mabel Hughes Wiseman.
Married Beverley Jane Williams, Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada.

Norman Edward Wiseman, son of the late Frank Wiseman and Mabel Hughes Wiseman, was born on July 20, 1928 in Petersburg, Illinois. He departed this life on January 12, 2011 in Salem, Arkansas at the age of 82 years, 5 months, and 23 days In 1979, he was united in marriage to Beverley Jane Williams in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.
During his working years he was employed as an aircraft engineer in California. After moving to Arkansas he sold real estate and cattle. He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years: Beverley Wiseman of Pineville, Arkansas; one son: Derek Wiseman of California; one daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and James Houghtaling of Elizabeth, Arkansas; one sister: Phyllis Evans of Springfield, Illinois; two grandsons: Ethan Houghtaling serving in the United States Marine Corp and Quentin Houghtaling of Elizabeth, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters: Bonnie Wiseman, Betty Shrum, and Shirley Fields.
Funeral service was Sunday January 16, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Calico Rock Chapel with Wayne Wood officiating. Burial is at Wild Cherry Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home. Visitation was Saturday January 15, 2011 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home In Calico Rock, Arkansas from 6-8 P.M. Pallbearers: James Houghtaling, Ethan Houghtaling, Quentin Houghtaling, Norman Evans, Bruce Evans, and Billy Porterfield. Honorary Pallbearers: Eugene Sullins, Ed Traylor, and Rayvon Cantrell. Memorials may be made to: Wild Cherry Cemetery.
