Mrs. Betty Jane Jackson, age 81, of Midway passed away Saturday February 20, 2010 at her residence. Elizabeth Jane Jackson was born September 7, 1928 in Syracuse, New York to Edwin and Jane (Puzzulo) Burkart. She married John Charles Henry Jackson January 14, 1950 in New Hampshire. She was a jack of all trades including a private investigator, a hostess, and a personal care aid. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3183.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her sons: John H. (Regina) Jackson of Austin, Texas and Matthew E. (Cheryl) Jackson of Mountain Home, a daughter: Janie Jackson (Jeff Janeway) of Mountain Home, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She has 2 brothers, and 3 sisters all of Syracuse, New York and family friends Barbara Sullivan of Syracuse, New York and Eldon Watson of Midway. She was preceded in death by her son Kemmet Jackson and her parents.

All services are private. Interment will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
