Mamie Nordin Whorton, 89, of Paris died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Harrison.
She was born Jan. 31, 1918, in London, to James K. Polk Nordin and Rose Melinda Hardin Nordin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buel Whorton; a daughter, a son, a grandson, and a great-grandson.
Survivors include five sons, James Whorton of Stanwood, Wash., John Whorton of Russellville, David and Charles Whorton of Paris, and Darrell Whorton of Harrison; two daughters, Nina Ruloph of Paris and Shirley Bradow of Port-Angeles, Wash.; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Tuesday at Full Gospel Mission Church in Paris. Burial was in East Point Cemetery near London by Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Paris
