HUNTSVILLE-- Ada Jewell Russell, 84, of Huntsville died Jan. 26, 2002, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 6, 1917, in Wharton, to Clarence Herbert and Thursa Mae Inman Steele. She was a homemaker, and she attended the Church of God Holiness.

Survivors include three sons, Paul Russell of Witter, John David Russell of Huntsville and Joe Russell of Kingston; one daughter, Sandra Bell of Warsaw, Mo.; one brother, Paul Steele of Huntsville; three sisters, Almadean Reynolds and Ruth Cornett, both of Huntsville, and Stella Talbot of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.

The funeral will be at noon today at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery in Kingston.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Smith, Bobby Steele, Jim Steele, Vernon McWilliams, Samuel A. Steele and Virgil Inman.
