Elbert - February 22, 1890 - December 3, 1970
Beatrice - January 23, 1892 - July 10, 1975
Elbert Reaves, 80 died Thursday night in a local hospital. Mr. Reaves was a resident of a local nursing home at the time of his death. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Reaves is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Clark Reaves; one daughter, Mrs. J. D. Powell of Camden; one son, Clark Reaves of Donivan, Mo.; two brothers Ervin Reaves of Magnolia and Erdie Reaves of Waldo; one sister, Mrs. Ila Stags of Waldo; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church near Waldo, with burial in the church cemetery. Camden Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
