"Georgia Walker"
Georgia Brantley Walker, age 83, of Fordyce, died Monday, November 29, 2004, in the Northeast Medical Center Hospital at Humble, Texas.
"Born December 20, 1920 at Fordyce, she was a daughter of the late Will Brantley and Aldie Banks Brantley.
"She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church at Fordyce.
"She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Walker.
"Survivors include six sons, Alfred T. Walker of CA, Stanley Walker and wife, Wlizabeth, of TX, Alan Walker and wife, Judy, of WI, Kevin Walker of WI, Gregg Walker and wife, Angela, of CA and Keenan Walker and wife, Valarie, of WI; three daughters, Sheryl of CA, Avis Garrett and husband, Charles, of CO and Nola of WI; four sisters, Annette Shaw of Niles, MI, Margaret Brantley, Geneva Brantley and Louise Brantley of Fordyce; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
"Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 4, in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Vincent Waller officiating. Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery by Marks Funeral Home."
