A TRIBUTE TO MELVIN - BY HIS WIFE GLENDA LANDRETH
Some people's lives make a difference, and that is how Melvin lived his life...making a difference. He will always be remembered as the special person he was. However long or short a life on earth, when they're gone, the lives of those they touched are so much richer.
I remember when Melvin taught a Jr. Boys Sunday School class at Southside Baptist Church, He took the class duck hunting and every boy (including my Son) came home convinced that they had bagged a duck. Only Melvin knew who actually shot the duck. ----Charles Anderson
