Wanza Vinson, age 82, of Russellville, the widow of Jerry Don Vinson, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at her home. A daughter of the late William Lee and Bessie Mae Rhynes Bethell, she was born December 13, 1926 at Deer, Arkansas.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Watkins, five brothers, Bill, Ray, Verbal, Wilburn and Newton Bethell, and three sisters, Bonnie Criner, Fern Fields and Jean Sims.
Survivors include a son, Fred Walt Flanery of Glen Rose, Texas; three daughters: Malinda Pruitt of Russellville; Brenda Venable of Bentonville; and Carol Jane Vinson of St. Charles, Missouri; a brother, George Bethell of Murrieta, California; a sister, Mary Didomizio of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Donnie and Jimmy Sims, Mike Brisco, Steve Condley and Lane, Taylor and Travis Bewley.
