Virginia Passmore Caston, 88, died Tuesday, June 21st, at Stone County Nursing and Rehabilitation center. She was born October 29, 1922, at Thola, as the daughter of the late George and Malinda Sutterfield Passmore.
She was a member of White Water Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Caston Nuckolls and husband Michael, brother-in-law Clesson Caston and wife Mary, grandson Anthony Lay and wife Kim, Tim Lay and wife Abby, great-grandsons, Hayden Lay and Cole Lay, step-great-grandkids Rhiannon and Josie Storey and Tyler King and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Raymond Lynn, her husband Basil Caston, sisters Nola Hardin and Giva Whitfield and a brother Buster Passmore.
Pallbearers were Lewis Caston, Fred Caston, Donnie Fletcher, Larry Gilbert, Anthony Lay and Tim Lay.
