Buel Gilbert, 86, Alco entered into rest on January 16, 2009 at Mountain View.
He was born August 19, 1922 in Alco, Arkansas to Johnny and Manda (Treat) Gilbert.
He is survived by his son-in-law, Foy Eddings and his wife Julie; granddaughter, Marianne Fletcher and her husband, James; two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Anderson and Matt Fletcher all of Timbo and a host of friends, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion; parents, daughter; Deborah ‘Debbie’ Eddings, one infant son Allen Gilbert, four brothers: Orba, Denzil, Pat and Horace Gilbert and one sister, Myrtie George.
Pallbearers were Joe Gilbert, Guy Brent Gilbert, Leslie Sutterfield, Jerry Floyd, Dwight Passmore and Shirl Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Hugh Southern, Mike Freeze, Huey Gilbert, Corey Gilbert, Matthew Fletcher, Ora Mast, Venton White, Paul Balentine and Paul Eddings.
Honor Guard by U. S. Army Honor Guard. Mr. Gilbert was accorded military honors.
