Anna Mae Hale George, 83, Mtn. View formerly of Timbo was born July 5, 1924 in the community of Oak Grove, Arkansas to George Robert and Sarah Idella ‘Della’ (Trammell) Hale. She entered into rest August 4, 2007 at the Stone County Nursing home.
She is survived by her son, Thurman George, Jr and wife Geneva of Mtn. View; grandchildren; Renee and Christopher George, Mark and Greg Schiefer and Monica Schiefer Day; great-grandchildren; Kathryn, Adam, and Gregory Pat Schiefer; son-in-law, Stan Dargis, many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thurman George, Sr., daughter, Patsy Ann George Dargis; two infant children; three brothers, Robert, Clarence and Lee F. Hale; and three sisters, Marie Hardesty, Vina Wilson and Frona Storey.
Pallbearers were Christopher George, Mark Schiefer, Greg Schiefer, Brad Fulks, John McMurray and Mark Whitfield.
Honorary pallbearers are Stan Dargis, Dee Fulks, Aaron Day, Adam Schiefer, Gregory Pat Schiefer and Wesley Bender.
