Hendrix Passmore, 78, passed away March 19, 2008 at his home in Oxley, Arkansas. He was born on November 24, 1929 at Elberta, Arkansas, to Alton (Doc) and Neva (Kuykendall) Passmore.

He loved his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent time fishing and hunting. He retired from the Searcy County Road Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Alton (Doc) Passmore and Neva Passmore, son; Jimmy Royce Passmore and grandson Jay Cee Passmore.

Survivors include his wife Juanita (Harness) Passmore of the home, two daughters; Judy and husband Rudy Wright and Hendrixetta and husband Eddie Watts of Oxley, Arkansas, four sisters; Bernell Adams, Emma Morrison, Betty Lockerby, and Barbara Passmore all of Leslie, Arkansas, three brothers; Larry and Daniel Passmore of Leslie, Arkansas, and Corbett Passmore of Parkin, Arkansas, four grandchildren; Renae Williams of Bee Branch, Arkansas, Wacey Watts of Marshall, Arkansas, Kayla Smith of Conway, Arkansas, and Neda Tilley of Rogers, Arkansas, three great-grandchildren; Jackson Watts of Marshall, Arkansas and Madalynn and Savannah Williams of Bee Branch, Arkansas and another great-granddaughter expected soon.

Pallbearers were Kent Griggs, Wacey Watts, Bob Sweetin, Erle Watts, Glen Watts, and Ben Watts.

Graveside services 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Kuykendall Cemetery with Tommy Jolly and Bill Wheeler officiating.

Burial by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home.
