Thursday, October 13, 1898
CONLEY, Roe Ann MAHAN - W.E. Conley, who resides about six miles east of town, received a telegram stating that his wife was dead. She died at the home of her daughter in Bengal, I.T. where she had gone about the middle of September hoping that the change of climate would benefit her health. The remains will be brought here for interment. Mr. Connelly {sic) has the sympathy of the community.
