Mrs. Fannie Beulah Pitts was born in Tennessee January 2, 1873. She moved to Izard County, Arkansas, in her childhood with her parents. In early life she professed faith in Christ and united with the Presbyterian Church, later moving away from her church she united with the Missionary Baptist Church and remained a member until her death.

She united in marriage to Mr E. B. Springer, to this union were born three daughters, one, Artie Sanders, passed away in 1934.

On the morning of April 15, 1942, she had a stroke of paralysis and was called home about 9:20 p.m. that day.

She leaves a companion, E. B. Springer; two daughters, Mrs. L. L. Langston of St. Francis, Ark., and Mrs. Verlin Taylor of Iuka; two sisters, Mrs. Dink Helm and Mrs. Elmer Webb of Oxford.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Y. Whitfield at Wayland Arbor. Adams Funeral Home of Cotter is charge, April 16, 1942.

She cannot be where God is not
On any land or shore,
Thanks be to God that such has
lived tho' she is here no more.
