Dorothy Almeda Stone Sutton was born in Douglassville, Texas on September 17, 1926.
Dorothy graduated from Atlanta High School. She was employed by the Red River Army Depot, and later served 20 years as the Warden?s secretary at the Federal Bureau of Prisons. She also served as the secretary of the Retiree?s Club for the Prison. She and her husband, Tommy, faithfully served God at the First Baptist Church in Texarkana after they married. She sang in the Church Choir and along with her husband taught Sunday School to 6th graders for 39 years. She was active in numerous other Church activities which she so enjoyed. She married her devoted husband of 61 years, Tommy D. Sutton, who was the love of her life on November 17, 1946.
She is preceded in death by her best friend and adoring twin sister, Doris Almeda Hill, her mother, Angie Bobo Stone, her father, William P. Stone, her Grandmother Molly Bobo and Grandfather, William R. Bobo who reared them.
