Funeral of Talmage L. Lawrence Held Wed.
Funeral services for Talmage Lee Lawrence, who died in the Veterans Hospital at Fayetteville Sunday were held at Wayland Arbor Wednesday, with Rev. W. T. Watson of this place officiating. Burial was at Wayland Arbor. Deceased was 22 years of age. He was a World War II Veteran and was a former resident of Wild Cherry, but had made his home at Black Rock for the past several months.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Martha Lawrence of Black Rock; a brother, Bud Lawrence of Wild Cherry and three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Lamberth, and Mrs. Vida Pickney of Black Rock and Mrs. Mary Ann Skidmore of Rodney.
