Dixie Russell, age 47 died December 13 at Calico Rock Medical Center. She was the daughter of Arthur Sanders and Nola Dockins. She was a resident of Izard County all her life and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband Ottie Russell of Dolph, Arkansas; 1 son Carl Russell of Pineville, Ark.; mother Nola Sanders of Dolph, Arkansas; 4 sisters, Junita Stephens, Ill., Gladys Stone, Mtn. Home, Ark.; Cherell Sanders, Dolph, Ark.; 5 brothers, J. W. Sanders of Mo., Bob Sanders of Mtn. Home, Ark., Howard Sanders of Whiteville, Ark., Burlin Sanders of Dolph, Arkansas and Thurl Sanders of Dolph, Arkansas.
Services were held Monday Dec 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Howard Chapel, burial at Wayland Arbor in Dolph, Arkansas with Don Smith officiating.
Pallbearers were: Randy Sanders, Rick Sanders, Terry Sander, Tommy Sanders, Kenny Stephens and Roger Williams.
Howard Funeral Home was in charge of Arrangements.
