SHERIDAN --
Vivian Juanita Batchelor, 90, of Sheridan, died Sunday at Little River Memorial Hospital at Ashdown. She was born Sept. 11, 1914, at Bearden, a daughter of the late James P. Batchelor and Vera Mae Cone Batchelor.
She graduated from Sheridan High School and Arkansas State Teachers College (now the University of Central Arkansas) at Conway.
She taught school for several years and was a chemist for an oil company at Lake Charles, La., before retiring.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Sheridan. Survivors include one brother, Pete Batchelor of Camden.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Buie Funeral Home at Sheridan with Bruce Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan.
